Dr Ankit Gupta did his MBBS and received his MS (General Surgery) degree from the government medical College, Jammu. After completing his MS he worked as a senior resident for more than 2 years in the Department of Surgery at Government Medical College Jammu which included substantial exposure to urological cases. He subsequently did his super-specialisation (DrNB) in Urology at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad, Gujarat, where he received training in advanced endourology, laparoscopic surgeries and Robotic Urological procedures. He has attended many conferences as a speaker and his research papers are published in various national and international journals. He is an active member of the Urological Society of India.
