Qualification Dr. Basavaraj Utagi is a highly qualified cardiologist with extensive academic training from premier medical institutions in India. He completed his DM in Cardiology in December 2015 from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, following an MD in Medicine from the same institute in December 2011. His medical journey began with an MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, in April 2007. Dr. Basavaraj has also acquired a fellowship in the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) in 2021. With this solid educational foundation, Dr. Utagi brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise to the field of cardiology. He is an international fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Work Experience Dr. Basavaraj Utagi brings with him a rich and diverse clinical experience in the field of cardiology, for more than 10 years spanning across leading hospitals in India. He has worked as an associate professor and consultant cardiologist at Justice K S Hegde Hospital, Mangalore. Prior to this, he was associated with the same institution as an assistant professor and consultant cardiologist from November 2018 to October 2023. His previous appointments include Consultant Cardiologist at Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai, from December 2016 to October 2018, and Associate Consultant Cardiologist at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad, from January to November 2016.
