Dr Karn Mehra is the Head of Department at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurugram. After completing his MBBS from Christian Medical College Vellore he pursued his DNB in Respiratory Medicine. He continued his medical journey in Max Hospital Saket where he trained for Intervention Pulmonology and continued working as consultant from 2015-2020. He has independently done over 6000 Advanced Intervention Pulmonology procedures since 2012. He cleared his European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (EDARM). He was working as consultant and in charge Pulmonology and Critical Care at Asian Hospital from 2021-22. He did his DRCPSC (Diploma from Royal College of Physicians Canada) in Respirology and Lung Transplant Medicine from Toronto, Canada which is the largest Lung Transplant program in the world. He has successfully managed over 1000 Lung Transplant recipients at the Toronto Lung Transplant Program. Following his extensive training in Pulmonology and Lung Transplant he has headed the first Heart and Lung Transplant program at Puspawati Singhania Research Institute, New Delhi and is currently Head of Pulmonology at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurugram.
