Dr. Ashish Jaikishan is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Interventional Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. He has more than 14 years of experience in this field. He has earlier worked with Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, & MGIMS - Sevagram. He has done academic research on the Role of perioperative intravenous amiodarone therapy in the prevention of cardiac arrhythmia in patients with impaired left ventricular function undergoing cardiac surgery & study of the prevalence of pulmonary hypertension in adults with cirrhosis of the liver in rural hospitals in central India. He has attended many workshops and conferences. He has been certified with Excellence in Workshop on Neonatal Advanced Life Support & Excellence in Workshop on Paediatric Advanced Life Support, conducted at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. He has been awarded Smt. Urmil Vohra silver medal in Medicine MBBS, received Bronze medal for standing second in Paediatrics MBBS, received silver medal for standing first in Community medicine MBBS., awarded Lalit B.
