Dr. Milind Mandwar is an expert multi-organ transplant and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgeon. He has more than 4 years of experience in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants and HPB surgeries. He has performed and assisted in many multi-organ transplants and HPB surgeries including major liver tumor resections, Whipple's procedures, and bile duct surgeries. He has been actively involved in living donor as well as deceased donor organ transplants, which also include minimally invasive, paediatric, ABO incompatible and swap transplants. Dr. Milind completed his MBBS from the Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati; MS (General Surgery) and Advanced Laparoscopy Course from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. After MS, he joined PGIMER, Chandigarh as a Senior Resident in the Department of Renal and Pancreas Transplants and later he joined IKDRC, Ahmedabad as an abdominal organ transplant fellow. He has done his fellowship in liver transplant and HPB surgery from BLK-Max super speciality hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Milind is a member of the International Liver Transplant Society, Indian Society of Organ Transplant, and Liver Transplant Society of India. He has also received training in vascular access including ultrasound-guided procedures. He has published many research papers and participated in several conferences at the national as well as international levels.
