Dr. Sachin Baliga is an enthusiastic mental health professional working in the field of Psychiatry. After finishing his MD in Psychiatry from Nair Hospital, Mumbai, he also completed his DNB from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi, followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation of Psychiatric Disorders (NIBS) from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health And Neuro Sciences, Bengaluru. He has also worked as a faculty member in psychiatry at his alma mater. Balancing traditional treatment using medications and therapy with modern cutting-edge techniques, Dr. Sachin believes in practising a holistic approach towards managing common psychiatric disorders. He also promotes using mindfulness-based techniques to manage daily stress and worries. A passionate teacher and a writer, he is also involved in delivering lectures and conducting national and zonal-level workshops that have been well received. His expertise involves mood and psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction medicine, and the management of stress and sleep problems. He also specialises in using various methods of brain stimulation in the management of psychiatric disorders.
