Dr. Srinivas Mahesh Prasad is a consultant Nephrologist at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore. He completed his MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. After this, he went on to pursue an MD in General Medicine from the prestigious Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Ballari. He further specialised, obtaining DM Nephrology from the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore. He has 10 years of medical experience and 6 years of experience in nephrology and kidney transplantation. He worked as an Associate professor of Nephrology at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital for 3 years. He is a life member of the Karnataka Nephrology Association (NAK). He has won Quizzes and the best paper award at various state-level and national-level conferences during his tenure as an MBBS, MD General Medicine and DM Nephrology student. His expertise is in Critical care Nephrology, Hemodialysis, SLED, Renal Biopsy, Plasmapheresis, Central Line insertions, Dialysis Catheter Insertion, and Hemoadsorption.
