Dr Suman is a practicing Medical oncologist with more than 9 years of experience in the field of Oncology. She currently works as a senior Consultant at Fortis memorial research centre, Gurugram. Prior to this she worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Christie Hospital, Manchester UK, Europe’s largest single site comprehensive cancer centre, which is the forefront of clinical excellence. She also completed her Clinical Research Fellowship in Gynaecological malignancies at Christie Hospital, Manchester. She has actively participated as a sub investigator in numerous phase 1-3 clinical trials here. She has also attended a clinical observership in Intestinal Failure unit at Salford Royal Hospital, UK to learn the optimise parenteral nutrition management of Malignant bowel obstruction. Apart from Gynae oncology she also has a special interest in neuro-oncology and Colorectal cancers. She strongly believes that cancer care is not just about administration of the right medication but also maintaining the emotional and mental health of the patient. Her top priority is ensuring that the patient’s quality of life is maintained at every step of cancer care.
