Event: Bariatric Surgery Support Group
The Department of MAS, GI and Bariatric Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Randeep Wadhawan, Director & HOD, organised a Bariatric Support Group Programme on December 17, 2014. The group comprised 50 patients, of which 20-30 patients were post-operative, and 10-20 were prospective patients.
During the interactive sessions, the operated patients shared their experiences, and the doctors answered to all the questions about pre-and post operative procedures and care.
The session was moderated by Dr. Wadhawan. The speakers included Dr. Rashmi Taneja, Senior Consultant, Plastic, Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery and Miss Seema Singh, Chief Clinical Nutritionist, Dietetics.
