No Noise Pollution Campaign with Traffic Police

With the objective of reducing noise pollution in Thane city, Fortis Mulund collaborated with the Thane traffic police to initiate a campaign to reduce car honking in the area especially during the festive seasons. In our endeavour to educate the people about the negative health effects of loud noises, we placed 16 hoardings, banners/backdrops at the leading colleges. As a part of the campaign we pasted car stickers on vehicles and put out posters in the neighbourhood with information about the campaign. As a part of our campaigning, we had invited the media celebrity, Yo Yo Honey Singh to inaugurate the ‘No Honking Campaign’ on July 27, 2014 at Korum Mall, Thane.
