Fortis, Chd Kidney Foundation hold first of its kind certificate course for nurses in kidney transplant process

With rising demand for kidney transplantation, and technological advancements in the field, doctors are increasingly feeling the need for nurses and paramedical staff specially trained in handling a transplant unit.
With this objective, the department of Urology & Kidney Transplant Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Mohali in association with Chandigarh Kidney Foundation organised a one-day conference cum workshop on kidney transplantation for nurses inclined towards care of kidney transplant patients. More than 150 nurses from across the region participated.
