Fortis Hospital, Kalyan, hosts two day health camp for over 2,300 Police personnel & their families

To appreciate and honor dedicated service by Kalyan’s Police force, Fortis Hospital, Kalyan conducted an extensive medical camp for over 2,300 Police personnel, retired Police staff and their family members. The medical camp organized by Fortis Hospital, Kalyan, was conducted in collaboration with IMA Kalyan (Indian Medical Association) and the Kalyan Police Association.

The health camp, conducted on October 17th and 18th featured thorough blood investigations, eye tests, ECG tests, dental exams and gynecological examinations. The tests were conducted by a panel of 20 doctors across varying specialties, including General Physicians, Orthopaedicians, ENT doctors, Dentists, Gynaecologists and Ophthalmologists, who also provided consultations to the participants.

Speaking about the police health camp, Dr Sameer Kulkarni, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Kalyan, said, “Regular health check-ups help identify issues and also help avoid progressive health problems. This camp is our effort to ensure health and wellbeing of these public service professionals who risk their lives to keep us safe. In our endeavor to spread the message of importance of health for public service professionals. We will continue to engage with the city administration to conduct more such programs for the benefit of the society.”

Hon Param Veer Singh , Police Commissioner Thane District said, “We appreciate Fortis Hospital’s effort to screen our force who works in high-pressure environment that affects our physical, mental and emotional health. This camp would help us identifying our teams health concerns and take steps to ensure good health.”
