Fortis Hospital, Mulund, takes up Swachh Bharat Mission for a greener and cleaner Mumbai

In support of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Swachh Bharat Mission”, Fortis Hospital, Mulund, initiated the “Swachh Mumbai, Swastha Mumbai” campaign. The campaign commenced in presence of Mr. Bhavdeep Singh, CEO, Fortis Healthcare Ltd along with doctors, nursing stuff and support stuff of the hospital. The aim of the campaign is to communicate to the Mumbaikars that good health and cleanliness go hand in hand. The initiative at Mulund was led by Dr. S Narayani, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital, Mulund. Through this initiative, the hospital reinforced the fact that the delivery of quality healthcare is best possible in a clean surrounding.

More than 300 employees of the hospital which included senior members of the management, clinicians and nursing staff spread out in the surrounding areas of the hospital. The campaign sent out a strong message of social consciousness and generated awareness about the responsibility of citizens in keeping the environment clean. The teams swept the surroundings and also spread awareness about cleanliness amongst the general public.
