Fortis Hospital, Vashi, conducts Organ Donation Awareness Drive at Vashi Railway Station

Continuing its efforts to enhance public awareness about Organ Donation, Fortis Hospital, Vashi, conducted Organ Donation Drive at Vashi Railway Station on Friday, encouraging citizens to enrich precious lives by pledging organs.

Conducted in association with Vashi Railway Station Commercial Complex LtD. Fortis Hospital, Vashi, conducted the Organ Donation drive at Vashi Railway Station premise. As part of the event, representatives of Fortis Hospital interacted with the citizens commuting through Vashi Railway Station, explaining the merits of Organ Donation and how their support towards this noble cause can give new lease of life to people suffering from end-stage organ failure.

Expressing interest, hundreds of citizens signed the 'Pledge Wall' and expressed their desire to donate organs, seeking additional information on the Organ Donation procedure from Fortis representatives. Over 30 pledges were collected through the day long activity and over 300 commuters and Navi Mumbaikars were engaged for the cause.
