Fortis’ S.L Raheja Hospital, Conducts Multi-Specialty Health Checkup Camp for BMC Employees at Dadar.

On occasion of the World Health Day, celebrated as a global health awareness day; Fortis’ S.L Raheja Hospital Mahim, conducted a multi-specialty heath check-up camp for the employees of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) office in Dadar. Over 700 BMC employees were screened for Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), Body Composition Assessment (BCA) and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) check followed by consultations from Physician, Dietician and Physiotherapist.

Employees of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation play a vital role in the civic administration of the city and the state of their health has a bearing on life of Mumbaikars; this screening camp ensured that the employees were apprised of their health status and are equipped to tackle the medical needs. Interestingly, most of employees who were screened indicated concern for better health and sought doctors’ advice to leading a healthier life.
